Parece que no va a ser remake, sino SECUELA (lo cual desde mi punto de vista cambia todo )

Siempre tuve una duda....los "delincuentes" en las peliculas eran boludos o se hacian?....

Porque siempre le disparaban al cuerpo...pq no le disparan al visor ese rojo de cuarta y lo matan de una vez al invento este?

Rumor: Spidey no es el único en el horno con producciones suspendidas. Parece que Robo también esta en pausa, y todo porque Avatar hizo un montón de guita. MGM cree que el 3D es la salvación, y quieren convencer al director Darren Aronofsky de filmarla para estrenar en este formato. El director, de la escuela de Devil, no quiere saber una mierda con eso.

'The Killing' Star Joel Kinnaman Circling 'Robocop' Remake
The Swedish actor is expected to take the lead in MGM's reboot of the futuristic franchise.

Has MGM found its Robocop?

Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman has been offered the lead of MGM’s remake of Robocop, the 1987 sci-fi action movie about a cyborg policeman.

Kinnaman is the male lead of AMC’s The Killing who came to Hollywood’s attention via his work on Scandinavian thrillers such as Snabba cash. He’s appeared in bit roles in Summit’s sci-fi movie The Darkest Hour and Universal’s Safe House and was to have starred as Lancelot in Arthur & Lancelot, Warners’ now-scrapped King Arthur movie.
Dealmaking is expected to begin imminently.

The Robocop remake is being described as a gritty origin story as MGM reboots the franchise. Jose Padilha (Elite Squad) is directing.

Gary Oldman Joining MGM's 'Robocop' Remake (Exclusive)
The actor will star opposite Joel Kinnaman in the remake of Paul Verhoeven's sci-fi action classic.

Gary Oldman has inked a deal to star opposite Joel Kinnaman in MGM’s remake of Robocop.

Jose Padilha is directing the film, which is being produced by Strike Entertainment’s Marc Abraham and Eric Newman.

Kinnaman (The Killing) plays the title character, a cop named Alex Murphy who is brought back from the brink of death and turned into a cyborg police officer.

Oldman will play Norton, the scientist who creates Robocop and finds himself torn between the ideals of the machine trying to rediscover its humanity and the callous needs of a corporation.

The production is eyeing a September shoot in Toronto and has a tentative release date of summer 2013.

Oldman, repped by APA and manager Douglas Urbanski, will next be seen as Commissioner Gordon in The Dark Knight Rises. His period crime movie Lawless, which also stars Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy, just premiered in Cannes. With movies such as Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy and the Harry Potter series under his belt, Oldman has the distinction of being the top-grossing actor of all time. He also was nominated for an Oscar this year for his performance in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
