Le Journal de Montreal informó que la gente de Fox volvió a juntarse con MELS Studios, donde se filmaron las últimas dos películas de X-Men, para comenzar a trabajar en otra dentro de unos meses.

El presidente de MELS corroboró la historia comentando que se empezarán a armar los sets del film en enero, para comenzar la producción en mayo y continuarla por varios meses en los estudios principales de su compañía. También agregó que estuvieron los últimos dos o tres meses en negociaciones para volver y que están muy conformes con el trabajo realizado en las películas que ya vimos.

“X-Men: Supernova” (w/t “Dark Phoenix” / “Teen Spirit”)

After talking to multiple sources, I can report that writer/producer Simon Kinberg is looking to make his directorial debut with the next X-Men movie and he’s already written the screenplay. From what I hear, it does focus on the Dark Phoenix storyline and it’s now up to the studio if they’ll use his script and if he’ll get to direct it. At this point, I don’t have any information about casting beyond Sophie Turner.
