GDC session report reveals company's cross-platform plans
Microsoft has inadvertently revealed its plans to bring Xbox Live to Switch and mobile after submitting a session report for GDC 2019.
In the description for a GDC session titled Xbox Live: Growing & Engaging Your Gaming Community Across iOS, Android, Switch, Xbox, and PC (spotted by Windows Central), the platform holder revealed its plans to release a new Xbox Development Kit.
"Get a first look at the SDK to enable game developers to connect players between iOS, Android, and Switch in addition to Xbox and any game in the Microsoft Store on Windows PCs," reads the description.
Google anunció Stadia, un servicio para jugar haciendo streaming, prometiendo 60fps 4k, y toda la bola, cuando todo el mundo esperaba que anunciara consola. Se juega desde cualquier dispositivo que soporte Chrome, y van a vender un joystick con wifi para reducir la latencia pegandole directamente al server (no a tu PC/lo que sea)
No se que internet se piensan que tiene el mundo para prometer 60fps a 4k...

Nah, ni en pedo se arriesgarían a sacar una consola física posta de la nada viendo que el mercado está más que cubierto con tres opciones grandes recontra establecidas hace años/décadas, más fácil y seguro hacer esto, que de última si no funca agarran los servidores y los usan para otra cosa.

Fuera de joda, sería interesante si Microsoft se encargara de los sistemas hogareños y Nintendo del sistema portátil de turno, y ambos tuvieran versiones de los juegos del otro.
