What an incredible find! Last year assembler Game's forum user tdijital came upon a bunch of Sega source code and dev tools from an IRS liquidation. A bunch of people have been poking around what those findings might have been and last week Headcrab (producer of the Megadrive game "Tanglewood") managed to compile and release one of the Mega CD games from the source code. It is none other than "Super Strike Trilogy", a compilation of all three "Strike" games released on the Sega Megadrive for the Mega CD! There is no music so we must assume EA was planning to add red book audio to the game, but sound FX is included. In fact, despite a few quirks, all three games seem to be up and running fully! A shame this was never released back in 1994/95 as it seemed to be the released date because it would have been incredibly good value for money for "Strike" fans. Enjoy a few minutes of gameplay from all three games!
